While on a speaking engagement to celebrate GayPride on Saltspring island this last weekend, I spent a few hours photographing the GayPride parade.

These two photographs symbolised the event for me. Young people get it. They are the ones helping to create a new destiny together. It’s a destiny where integrity overshadows religious and cutural bias.

I have to keep reminding myself that just 2 hrs outside Vancouver I can immerse my photographic senses in stunning visuals of lakes and waterfalls.
